Afterwhich I went home to pick up Mooiness and headed for Kampong Glam.
And had dinner at this cafe called SAMAR, which was infested with angmohs.
It serves Palestinian food.
I ordered something called Mansaf. Apparently a lamb dish with rice, served at weddings.
Mooiness had some samosas. Hee Hee Hee...
And we both had some milky drinks.
Mine was Almond with Milk, while he had honeydew with milk.
At about 9.45pm, 'Good Fren' came to join us after work.
He ordered some lamb thing as well. And a mango milk drink.
After the strange tasting late dinner, we took a quick tour around the area. Taking the sweet scents in the air, and sights of quaint little shops with loads of yuppie shite.
I must say Kampong Glam is getting rather gentrified.
But then again, without new trades supporting old areas, the latter will not survive. A necessary evil, I guess.
Mooiness is currently obsessed with our conservation shophouses.

Ok... Tomorrow night, the Home & Decor people are coming. On Thu nite, we are having dinner, probably nepalese food. On Fri nite, we'll be going for dinner somewhere, then perhaps hopping over to MOX. Then on Sat nite, we are going to St James Power Station!!!

Somehow... For the past 2 days, I've been feeling like a tourist.
Perhaps that holiday feeling is really merely a state of mind.
That the displacement from one's centre can be a deliberate liberation of the mind from the everyday life.

Rather contrary to one of the above comments. I was rather impressed with Mooiness pictures than yours. I am not sure of the technical terms to describe, but the angles taken made his pictures very much alive and 3D. I must say those pictures were very well-framed.
He writes well too- a rarity these days.
