Anyway... I wanna talk about Lust, Caution.
CAUTION: SPOILER AHEAD!!
You can still turn back now!!!
You can still turn back now!!!

The movie had many cringe-worthy moments, and I realise that they were mostly when Wong Lee Hom appeared.
He's cute and all, but he cannot act...
He couldn't look pathetic/selfish enough when he had to sacrifice his chick for his country.
To make things worse...
His slurring accent (+ looks) makes him an ACS boy trying to (A) speak Mandarin and (B) engage in revolution in bid to save China from the World.
"中国不能亡!"
Just think about the irony of that. *hair all standing*
He's better off doing this... HOT HOT HOT... this way...

Maybe if he had stripped in the movie, it would have made up for his lousy acting...
*with a straight face* I think his role of Kuang Yumin ought to have gone to some upcoming hot-blooded Chinese star who has never touched western soil.
Of course... This is the first time I have ever seen so much of this brilliant man... =O
Some more with 'Good Fren' sitting beside me... HO HO HO...

Somehow... The idea of a powerful, lonely and pensive spymaster intrigues on a somewhat tingling level.
Makes me wonder whether his connection with the young Mrs Mak was purely due to loneliness, or her ability to understand and pay unfettered attention to him.
Probably both... We are all vulnerable...
And her (super)ability to do so is because she is an unwanted individual. She has nothing to lose.
No family... No love (Kuang Yumin is a loser)...
She was depressed and her mission kept her alive... Gave her meaning to be the best of herself.
At least... She could tell herself that she was good at something.
Any good story has got to be sickening.
The man, i.e. the target, has got to be the only person who seems to care about her.
*the cinema went 'WAAAAAAHHH' when Mr Khalid Said ud-Din flashed the bling at the camera.*
And for Mr Yee, there is just so much at stake which he cannot just ignore. He had to sign against her.
This filing, instructing and signing just seem so familiar.
Contrast this to the violent sexual intercourse earlier.
RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!
The plot is definitely sickening.
And leaves one feeling really empty. =_=
Not sad... But just empty...
It's so hollowing that I didn't want to spoil the moment by screaming at a couple of crass middle-age women sitting behind us.
One of them keep passing 2 or 3-word comments whenever something comes on the screen, and especially during the nude scenes. I reckon she felt uncomfortable and didn't know how else to deal with it.
She also did the 'tsk tsk tsk' thing a lot.
The other would just acknowledge.
KNN...
Now you really understand why Mr Yee had to book the entire fucking section of the Japanese restaurant.
It's somewhat analogous to why some people have to buy pirated movies...
BECAUSE...
- Pirates are in the market earlier than the originals.
- One doesn't have to watch the movie with idiots and/or children at home.
Hence I suffer a lower quality of enjoyment.
KNN...
One would think that an (RA) film would limit the no. of children sharing the movie.
One is so damn wrong to make that kind of assumption.

he can't be an ACS boy... at least he speaks a little mandarin.. most ACS boys can't at all.. i was banished to the canteen at every chinese class..
Haha I knew you saw me looking at you cause I wanted to say Hi Blinkymummy but my guy was around and he doesn't like me to behave like a attention seeker in the public therefore I could only look at you... Sorry but now I can say HI here... haha
i watched this movie months ago and i loved it.
i like the way how the girl spy falls in love with the enemy.
it is usually because of useless guy like kuang yuming that drives good girls like her to desperation and into arms of the enemy..
brilliant plot..
and i cried in the movie..
